Mathematical Physics

The main advances in physic have come in condensed matter, but some still have hope for theoretical physics of yore.








 Nima Arkani-Hamed mentions Alexander Grothendieck in the video below. That is reason enough for me to watch the video. He is talking to mathematicians, including his colleague Pierre Deligne at the IAS, and says that he is moving from the old-style of Atiyah mathematics to a new-style of Grothendieck-based mathematics.
