Ancient Egyptian / Linear A Notes

Ancient Egyptian did not have the letter "L".  Only in late Egyptian was the lion glyph added. The greek sounds [g], [kh], [gw], [b], [ph], [th], as well as, [L] are missing from the Linear B alphabet.  Valério 2007 demonstrates that the Linear-A sign  is based in form on the Egyptian sr , "official/dignitary/courtier." The Linear A inscriptions were chiseled into stone rather than the neat etchings of the Egyptians. See KADMOS  figure 4. This glyph is related to Hebrew srn and Ugaritic tsrn (Akkadian transliteration suranu) = /tsuranu/ prince. So, is this where our English word thou or Swedish du comes from?  Does anyone know how to pronounce ? I rest my case. Probably nobody understands anyway.

Abstract

The conversion of light into free electron–hole pairs constitutes the key process in the fields of photodetection and photovoltaics. The efficiency of this process depends on the competition of different relaxation pathways and can be greatly enhanced when photoexcited carriers do not lose energy as heat, but instead transfer their excess energy into the production of additional electron–hole pairs through carrier–carrier scattering processes. Here we use optical pump–terahertz probe measurements to probe different pathways contributing to the ultrafast energy relaxation of photoexcited carriers. Our results indicate that carrier–carrier scattering is highly efficient, prevailing over optical-phonon emission in a wide range of photon wavelengths and leading to the production of secondary hot electrons originating from the conduction band. As hot electrons in graphene can drive currents, multiple hot-carrier generation makes graphene a promising material for highly efficient broadband extraction of light energy into electronic degrees of freedom, enabling high-efficiency optoelectronic applications.

Pyridoxamine

After just over two years, a few people are reading my 10 Feb. 2010 post: http://epigenome-nutrition.blogspot.com/2010/02/pyridoxamine-ban.html.  I don't know how they could have found it, since it ranks so low on the Google search engine.

                                                            Update

I only got a single irrelevant form letter response from one representative back them after my complains to Obama and my representatives in congress about taking away my vitamins. I still have 19 bottles of them in my refrigerator.  Someone who works in drug company told me they last past the expiration date if the have been kept there.  It shows that lawyers in this country are completely devoid of ethics and morals when it comes to regulating what people can eat. They should sue themselves for all the potential harm they have caused people by keeping it off the market, and leave the rest of us alone.

Another LENR Patent Application

Heating the electrolyte first, before applying current is of interest from the theoretical point of view.  I wish someone would try atomic hydrogen in appropriated sized nickel coated nano-tubes with Rossi's secret catalyst. Perhaps, pointing all the nano-tubes in one direction for a propulsion system. Just my silly idea. People seem to lack imagination.

Google Search

Using Google Search, trying to read  Particle Physics at the Year of 250th Anniversary of Moscow University ...  by Alexander I. Studenikin . Very interesting.
